About brittney

Hi!

My name’s Brittney and I started baking in the kitchen with my grandma as a kid. As I got older, and I was able to use the oven on my own, I started experimenting and trying new things. When I got to high school, I would make and sell cake pops in the hallways for holidays like Christmas or Valentine’s Day. The more I baked, the more I loved it. By my junior year, I decided that baking was what I wanted to do with my life.

I went to Trinity University and got my degree in accounting and entrepreneurship. While I was there, I kept experimenting and trying to figuring out what direction I wanted to take my baking in. I tried everything from a baking subscription service to a food truck. While each idea was fun to figure out, I always cake back to making cakes and custom treats. Nothing too complicated.

Today, I’m a cottage baker, baking out of my home in Georgetown, TX. The goal is to have my own store front one day. Whether it takes me 5 years, 20 years, or even if the store front never happens, I’m just happy to be baking.
